JUNIOR A TEAM
The Junior 'A' team is for selected 5th and 6th grade girls from West Hartford. The team is a member of the the Connecticut Valley Youth Lacrosse (CVYL) League and travels for competitions within our local region.
AGE GROUP
Grades 5 and 6 girls
Team determined by a tryout in June
WHEN
Season runs from mid April to early June
PRACTICES
90 minutes practices are held twice a week at Hall High School.
GAMES
The Junior A team will play approximately 8 regular season games between April and June. Home games will be held at Hall High School on weekends and away games will fall on both weekends and weeknights. 'A' teams will participate in the CVYL post season playoffs and at least one additional tourney/jamboree during the regular season.
UNIFORMS
West Hartford game jerseys, game shorts and reversible practice pinnies are required.
All of these items may be purchased during player registration.
Additional Info
All girls will require a USA Lacrosse membership ($35)
