About Us

West Hartford Girls Lacrosse provides grade-level opportunities for all West Hartford girls. We promote the game by teaching solid fundamental skills through practices and age appropriate competitions. We emphasize good sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for all participants on and off the field.

Our goal is not to promote individuals, but to promote team play through skill development, sportsmanship, and love of the sport.

We aim to create and maintain grade-level programs focused on teaching fundamental skills and providing challenging competition appropriate for the players' skill and athletic level, while maintaining focus on team concept and individual leadership development.

We promote a challenging, engaging, learning environment where players of differing levels of skill and physical development can learn and enjoy the game of lacrosse.

We provide equal attention, opportunity, and support to all participants.

We find adults and experienced high school players to teach, coach and referee scrimmages and games.
